Maryland Fencing Club will hold a series of five outdoor practices this spring, in back of the Calvary Baptist Church (206 E. Courtland Place, Bel Air). Each practice will follow the same format: warm-up exercises, footwork, blade drills, and organized bouting. How the bouting will be organized will vary depending on who attends, but it will have some structure and be like a mini-intramural tournament. Advance registration is required, but you don't have to commit to all of them. You can pick which practices you want to attend. Please JOIN USA FENCING before signing up for these practices. You may join for as little as $10 for a Non-Competitive membership. Fencers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Fencers must wear a face mask covering nose and mouth during fencing activities. Spectators must either observe social distancing (stay 6'+ away from others) or wear a face mask. There is no indoor access to the church. The closest public restroom will be at the Harford County Public Library a few blocks away in downtown Bel Air.
